As you know, the COVID-19 Crisis necessitated school closings throughout the country. Some school systems were ready to pivot into Distance Learning because students had and have access to personal computers or District-supplied devices.

What is GoFundMe Team Fundraising?

GoFundMe Team Fundraising allows groups of all sizes to raise money together. By joining a Team GoFundMe, you can help manage the fundraiser, spread the word, and help your team reach its fundraising goal.

The Spring of 2018, New York Office FBI Youth Academy will welcome 6th, 7th & 8th grade students to the US District Courthouse in Central Islip on April 2-5, 2018, from 10:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. Punctuality, professional behavior and appropriate dress will be required of all students attending this program.

The program is not exclusive to students interested in criminal justice. Due to the vast diversity in our workforce, any student with an interest in the FBI, what we do and how a relationship with the FBI can help their school is encouraged to apply. All students will be evaluated based on their application (GPA, school activities and community involvement) and essay to determine which students will be offered a seat in the class. None of the above elements will be the sole basis of evaluation of an application and the application process should be taken seriously by all applicants.

Your original application and supporting essay must be received by mail to the address in the APPLICATION DOCUMENTS by 4 p.m. on March 21, 2018 for panel review.
